Clatskanie Together Coalition

The Clatskanie Together Coalition was formed in April 2000, in order to implement and measure the outcome of many of the goals set out by the Clatskanie Community Progress Team, which was formed in 1997.

Our Coalition aims to encompass the total community, recognizing that we are most effective when we work together.  Together we can insure that Clatskanie is a place where all generations, from infants to seniors and everyone in between, feel that they belong.

 

Since that early begining, the Coalition has raised funds, mobilized volunteers and hired dedicated staff in order to bridge service gaps and provide opportunities for the community we serve.

1. To create a drug and alcohol free environment
throughout the community for children and families that promotes healthy beliefs and clear standards.

2. Encourage Clatskanie and the surrounding rural areas to work together with children, families and adults to develop community unity for all residents by promoting healthy programs and services available in the area.

3. To develop and continue responsive programming, with a focus on mentoring and dedicated to equipping our youth with life skills.
